Rebecca Rescate is the only person yet to have appeared on ABC’s hit TV show Shark Tank, with two separate businesses, and get both of those businesses funded by a “Shark” investor. Rebecca first pitched CitiKitty (a cat toilet training kit), which was a phenomenal success, and in 2013 pitched Hoodie Pillow (a hood and pillow in one). Robert Herjavec remembered Rebecca’s tenacity from her first appearance, her strong business sense and was not going to be happy until he knew he could jump on board with Rebecca in her next business venture.
Extra bonus – Carissa will co-host this show with Rob Merlino, who is in charge over at the Shark Tank Blog!
With the Shark Tank festivities, of course this week will feature a product from the tank as well! We all remember Rabbi Moshe Weiss, who had a memorable, humorous, and smart pitch: SoundBender. SoundBender is a magnetic, power-free iPad® amplifier.
Join in on all of this Shark Tank fun with Rebecca, Rob and Carissa – TONIGHT at 7pm PST/10pm EST at live.smallbusinessesdoitbetter.com. The show is aired live, and there is also a live chat so the viewers can ask Rebecca questions through the host! Come learn a thing or two, hang out with Shark Tank Entrepreneurs, network with other small business owners, there’s sure to be some good laughs!
It was great to see a business plan like hoodie pillow. I think it’s a nice idea to start up with a new business. best of luck.
